A painting exhibition opened at the Zhoushan Art Museum in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province on May 29, local media reported.
The exhibition consists of two parts: an exhibition for paintings and an exhibition about research in traditional wall painting creation.
It displays works by more than 40 artists, including the vice-chairman of the China Artists Association, the former president and professors of the China Academy of Art, as well as professors from other art academies in China.
Sponsored by the Publicity Department of the Zhoushan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Fresco Arts Council of the China Artists Association, and two other organizations, the exhibition will run until June 8.
