Zhoushan launches direct flights to Hefei, Wenzhou, Sanming

Putuoshan Airport in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, plans to launch direct flights to three more cities, local media reported on March 24.

The new routes will embark on their maiden flights on March 28, the first day of the summer season flights at Putuoshan Airport.

The flight to Hefei, capital city of East China's Anhui province, will be operated by China Eastern Airlines.

The flight will depart Hefei at 8:30 am and arrive in Zhoushan at 9:30 am. The return flight will depart Zhoushan at 10:20 am and arrive in Hefei at 11:20 am.

The flight to Wenzhou in Zhejiang takes about one hour and five minutes and will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The flight will depart Zhoushan at 10:50 am and arrive in Wenzhou at 11:55 am. The return flight will depart Wenzhou at 1:00 pm and arrive in Zhoushan at 2:05 pm.

The flight to Sanming in East China's Fujian province takes about one hour and 25 minutes and will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The flight will depart Sanming at 5:10 pm and arrive in Zhoushan at 6:35 pm. The return flight will depart Zhoushan at 7:20 pm and arrive in Sanming at 8:45 pm.

Thanks to the three new flight routes, 470 flights are expected to take off at the Putuoshan Airport each week and passengers can directly fly to 28 Chinese cities at the airport.
