Specific people are required to apply in advance on WeChat if they are traveling to Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, during the Spring Festival travel season from Jan 28 to March 8, according to a local government department on Jan 28.

These people include interprovincial travelers and people who work with cold-chain imported food, have direct contact with imported goods at ports, work at quarantine sites, or work in the transportation sector.

They must present their application information and negative nucleic acid test results from within seven days (calculated based on sampling time) to their workplace, community, village, or hotel immediately after arriving in Zhoushan.

They also must undergo 14 days of health monitoring and take nucleic acid tests on the seventh and 14th days of this period.

Those who have recently been to county-level cities, counties, or districts with high-risk areas or medium-risk county-level cities, counties, or districts are required to undergo seven days of medical observation at home and seven days of health monitoring. They also must undergo nucleic acid tests on the seventh and 14th days of this period.

Those who submit false applications will be investigated and punished according to the law.
