Zhoushan offering discounted scenic spot tickets

Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province unveiled preferential measures to boost its tourism industry on Dec 1, local media reported.

The preferential measures are not applicable to New Year's Day and Spring Festival holidays. Consumers must have ID cards to enjoy these preferential measures.

The following preferential measures, which end on Feb 28, 2021, are applicable to residents in Zhoushan, Songyuan in Jilin province and Dazhou in Sichuan province.

Tourists from the three cities can now visit Putuo Mountain, Luojia Mountain, Nansha scenic area, Dongsha Bay beach, Wushitang scenic area, Baishan Mountain, and Daqing Mountain for free.

A round-trip passenger ship ticket for travel between the Zhujiajian scenic area and Putuo Mountain now costs 16 yuan ($2.44). A ticket for travel between Putuo Mountain and Luojia Mountain costs 10 yuan.

Round-trip cableway tickets for Putuo Mountain are now at half price.

The following preferential measures are applicable to residents in Ningbo and will end on Jan 31.

Ningbo residents will enjoy a 50 percent discount on tickets for the above-mentioned scenic areas and the cableway on Putuo Mountain.

The scenic areas, hotels, homestays, restaurants, cinemas, indoor stadiums and cultural venues in Songyuan and Dazhou are also offering a variety of preferential policies to Zhoushan residents from Dec 1 to Feb 28, 2021.

For exmple, admission to the Bashan Grand Canyon scenic area in Dazhou is free for Zhousha residents. Ticket prices for the Chagan Lake Snow Park in Songyuan will also be slashed in half.
