Zhoushan shines at Yiwu trade fair

More than 50 culture and tourism companies from Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province participated in the 5th China Yiwu Cultural and Tourism Products Trade Fair (CCTPT), which was held in Yiwu, Zhejiang, from Nov 8 to 10, local media reported.

The Zhoushan pavilion at the trade fair covered an area of 369 square meters and showcased the city's specialties, including seafood, tea art and traditional handicrafts.

Different places in the city also set up their own booths at the Zhoushan pavilion.

Representatives from Putuo Island displayed their cultural and tourism products as well as Putuo's scenic views, delicious food, and comfortable homestays.

The ancient Dinghai district showcased various handicrafts and fisherman's paintings, while the New City booth focused on the area's modernity and rapid development.

Smoked bean curd, dried peanuts, and hard glutinous rice cakes were on display at the Daishan booth, while Putuo Mountain showcased its Buddhist culture by bringing Buddha tea and Avalokitesvara flaky pastries.

The 15th CCTPT occupied an area of 45,000 sq m and included 2,300 booths for exhibitors to display culturally creative products, intangible cultural heritage items, tourism equipment, intelligent tourism products, and hotel supplies.
