Companies from Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province attended the 2020 Maritime Silk Road Culture and Tourism Expo (Ningbo China) held in Ningbo, Zhejiang from Sept 25 to 27, local media reported.

The companies, organized by the local culture, broadcasting, television, tourism, and sports bureau, showcased special tourism products in Zhoushan, derivatives of fishermen's paintings, folk customs, travel routes, and intangible cultural heritages.

With an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, the expo included five exhibition halls focusing on foreign exchange, Ningbo culture, cultural and financial cooperation, cultural life and tourism recovery. The event also included an online exhibition platform.

More than 100 cities from over 10 countries made an appearance at the event, and over 150,000 people attended the expo both online and offline this year.
