Four companies based in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province participated in the ongoing 2020 China (Beijing) International Fair for Trade in Services (Beijing Fair or CIFTIS), which started in Beijing on Sept 4 and will run for six days.

Zhoushan was behind the international maritime service exhibition area during the Zhejiang Day event, where four Zhoushan companies made an appearance – Zhejiang Seaport International Trading Co Ltd, Zhejiang Youlian Repair and shipbuilding Co Ltd, Zhoushan IMC-Yongyue Shipyard and Engineering Co Ltd, and Zhoushan Xinya Shipyard Co Ltd.

Zhejiang Day kicked off at the China National Convention Center on Sept 6. More than 370 companies based in the province attended both the online and offline events, which focused on global services.

With an exhibition area of 72 square meters, the Zhejiang pavilion demonstration area featured 46 companies engaged in digital finance, digital security, digital information, digital manufacturing, digital supply chains, digital life, and international maritime services.

The 2020 CIFTIS was attended by international organizations, embassies in China, foreign business associations, and institutions and enterprises from 148 countries and regions.

A total of 18,000 domestic and foreign companies and institutions and more than 100,000 people registered to participate in the exhibition, both online and offline.
