A total of 5,022 college students have come to work in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province in the first half of this year, rising 10.18 percent year-on-year, according to data from the Zhoushan municipal bureau of human resources and social security.

Since March, the city has ramped up its efforts to recruit college graduates from across the nation. To date, a total of 36 online job fairs have been launched, garnering 400,000 views, through which more than 3,000 people reached initial intention agreements to work in the city.

In addition, Zhoushan has also set up fixed stations in universities. Since late May, 21 job fairs have been held in 15 universities outside the city.

The city has also worked to establish long-term mechanisms for talent recruitment by signing cooperation agreements with 14 domestic colleges and universities, including Zhejiang Normal University and Jinhua Polytechnic, to deepen in-depth cooperation on college student training, employment, and entrepreneurship.
