Those yearning for a cool summer holiday should consider Tianyue Bay coastal resort on Sijiao Island in Zhoushan.

Aside from pristine beaches and captivating sea views, visitors to the resort can also enjoy splashing about in the water, as a water park has recently been erected in the resort. 

The park, spanning an area of 5,000 square meters, boasts a large number of water entertainment facilities, suitable for both children and adults.

The admission fee to the park is set at 50 yuan ($7.24) per person, and the resort runs from 8:00 am to 21:30 pm. 

The sand sculptures on the beach are also not to be missed. If a day is not enough time, the Anfan Resort Hotel in the scenic area is a wonderful place to rest and enjoy the view of the sunrise over the sea the next morning.
