Those looking for a refreshing summer getaway might consider Qushan Island in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province.

All visitors need is a ferry ticket to tour around the island. 

The following are some recommended places to see: 

Shuanglong Beach 

This area is composed of both Liangzhi Beach and Shalong Beach. Walking on the pristine beach, visitors will be immersed in the picturesque sea views.

If they are lucky enough, they might catch sight of the "blue tears". The beach resembles the Milky Way at night, when it comes aglow with an endless web of glowing blue lights.

Forty-eight wind turbines are scattered neatly along the coastline. Blue sky, white clouds, green land, wind turbines and a heart-shaped sea view - here visitors can admire the scenery from the Japanese animation "Your Name". 

Liangzhi homestay village

The village is a rustic fishing village where visitors can savor a low-paced life. There are multiple homestays available there, where they can have a good rest. 

Lyuyexianzong

Lyuyexianzong refers to a small village which has been abandoned and overtaken entirely by wild vegetation. If visitors like greenery and want to take some summer photos, this wonderland shouldn't be missed. Please remember to bring mosquito repellent.

Guanyin Mountain 

The mountain is the highest in Daishan county. The ancient temple on the mountain adds a touch of calm and peace to Qushan Island. Starting from June 2, Guanyin Mountain Scenic Area has reopened after a short-term suspension due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
