Two villages in Zhoushan made the list of key national rural tourism villages recently released by the Zhejiang provincial department of culture and tourism. 

The two villages are Xinjian village in Dinghai district and Dongji village in Putuo district. 

A total of 31 villages in Zhejiang made the list. 

Huaniao village, located in Shengsi county, won the same title last year. 

Here are some brief introductions to Xianjian and Huaniao. 

Xinjian 

Located in Ganlan town, Dinghai district, Xinjian has seen robust growth in its culture and tourism sectors in recent years. The walls of houses throughout the village are decorated with murals. It is now working to develop itself into a practice center for college students majoring in art.

Huaniao

Visitors to Huaniao will be met with a rustic and tranquil fishing village. Along the coastline, fishermen weaving nets in the sun, fishing boats at sea, and a lighthouse in the distance create a picturesque scene.
