A total of 19 cooperation projects were agreed upon in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on June 6. They are meant to facilitate the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.

The projects involved industrial cooperation, scientific cooperation, environmental conservation, and transportation connectivity. 

According to the agreements, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui will strengthen cooperation in the digital economy, innovation, public health, international trade, energy, and transportation infrastructure. 

For instance, Shanghai and Jiangsu will strengthen cooperation in airport construction, while Shanghai and Zhejiang plan to focus on cooperation in government procurement.

Hangzhou and Huangshan will enhance cooperation in tourism, culture, and environmental conservation.

In addition, efforts will be made by Shanghai's Qingpu district, Suzhou, and Jiaxing to develop Dianshan Lake into an internationally popular attraction. 

Internet of Things pilot centers will also be built by Shanghai's Jiading district, Wuxi, Hangzhou and Hefei.

Suzhou and Chuzhou agreed to expand the Suzhou-Chuzhou High-tech Development Area by 41 square kilometers.
