Zhoushan, a city in East China's Zhejiang province, has retained its status as the largest domestic supplier of bonded fuel oil, according to statistics from Oilchem.net.

The volume of fuel oil from bonded vessels in China soared 30 percent to 4.8 million metric tons from January to April. 

The figure for bonded vessels from Zhoushan rose 12.39 percent year-on-year to 1.352 million metric tons over the same period, accounting for 28 percent of the national total. Among them,  supply of oil from Zhoushan ports and outside anchorage reached 800,000 metric tons.
