Construction on the Zhoushan-Daishan Bridge has been progressing steadily over the past few months.

More than half of the steel box girders have been installed, and the frame of the bridge is expected to be built by the end of June.

The bridge is designed to stretch 1,630 meters and can support an oil tanker weighing 100,000 metric tons, making it the sturdiest bridge in China.

The bridge has three pylons, each with an altitude of 180 meters.

It connects Zhoushan Island and Daishan Island and is an important part of the Shanghai-Zhoushan-Ningbo cross-sea channel, playing a vital role in integrating the Yangtze River Delta region.
