Zhoushan, Zhejiang province will gradually begin reopening its schools, with classes for senior students in middle and high schools to resume on April 13.

Students in grades 4-8 and grades 10-11 will return to school on April 20, and those in Grade 1-3 will return on April 26, while kindergartens will reopen after May 6, assuming no further outbreaks.

Off-campus training institutions remain closed until further notice.

Schools are required to examine students' health information and health codes and take their temperatures before allowing them to enter, and teachers and students who recently returned from outside the city must stay at home for 14 days for medical observation before returning to school.

Parents are asked to cooperate with schools to protect students from infection, and are encouraged to send their children to school by car or on foot. Students must wear face masks if taking a bus to school.
