An online project signing ceremony was held in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province on March 25 to celebrate the upcoming third anniversary of the establishment of the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone in the city.
A total of 13 project deals worth more than 7 billion yuan ($988.7 million) were signed during the ceremony, including two foreign-funded projects. The projects involve petrochemicals, high-end manufacturing, oil trade, maritime services, environmentally-friendly agriculture, international education, health tourism, and other key industries in the zone.
The ceremony was broadcast live on 10 online platforms.
An online project negotiating conference was held as well. During the conference, Lei Zulong, deputy director of the industrial planning department of Dongfang Electric Wind Power Co, discussed investment with the investment promotion authorities of Zhoushan and agreed to visit the city in April to inspect it.
