Zhoushan to resume flights to Shanghai

Updated : 2020-03-25 (chinadaily.com.cn)

The Putuoshan Airport in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province, will resume operations of its flights to Pudong New Area in Shanghai on March 29.

China Eastern will operate the flights on this line, offering one flight per day. The departure times will be 12:15 from Pudong and 19:30 from Zhoushan. Passengers will enjoy a discount of up to 75 percent on their tickets, meaning they may pay as little as 330 yuan ($46.47) (not including tax).

In addition, the airport has decided to offer subsidies to airlines to help them resume operations and boost trade and tourism in the city.

It also plans to launch new routes to Xuzhou in Jiangsu province and Huizhou in Guangdong province in the near future.

As the COVID-19 epidemic becomes more serious overseas, the airport is taking measures to avoid imported cases, such as requiring passengers from overseas to show their health codes and have their temperatures taken upon arrival.
