A refrigerated truck carrying 16.25 metric tons of high-quality marine products left the Zhoushan National Pelagic Fishing Base in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province for Hubei province on March 15.

The marine products, worth more than 470,000 yuan ($67,100), were donated by a total of 17 pelagic fishing companies in the base and will be sent to the Hubei Province Catering Association. 

The association will use the products to prepare healthy meals for medical workers across the province.

The marine products include 1,984 boxes of squids, saury, tuna and a variety of canned products. To produce the food, the Zhoushan Association for Pelagic Fishing had been communicating with the pelagic fishing companies for several days.
