The Shengsi county bureau of health sent a team to inspect public health security in the county in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province on Jan 13.

Shengsi is an island-based county located in the northern part of the prefecture-level city of Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province.

The team inspected passenger transportation centers, hotels, restaurants, barbershops and other places for relevant indicators, including air conditions, water supply and material purchasing, where necessary.

"All the places inspected today received strong marks. Moving forward, my colleagues and I will continue to carry out regular inspections in an effort to ensure local residents can enjoy a happy and healthy Spring Festival," said Tang Wenbin, director of the county's health inspection station.

The upcoming Spring Festival, or the Chinese Lunar New Year, will fall on Jan 25 and celebrate the beginning of the Year of the Rat according to the Chinese lunar calendar.
