A new entrepreneurship center recently opened its doors in the Marine Industry Cluster Area in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province after undergoing an approval process.

The center, which has ten floors and a total building area of approximately 10,000 square meters, is the first city-level entrepreneurship center in the cluster area and has been approved by local government departments to provide services such as enterprises registration, customs declaration, tax affairs preparation and bookkeeping, according to the administrative committee of the area.

Officials said that 15 enterprises have been registered in the center and a total of 30 enterprises are being incubated.

The Marine Industry Cluster Area, which covers a land area of 4 square kilometers and a sea area of 25 sq km, is a provincial economic development zone and high-tech entrepreneurship park.

In recent years, the area has been striving to develop enterprise incubation platforms, including industrial parks and entrepreneurship centers.

Moving forward, the administrative committee will continue to promote the development of enterprise incubators and entrepreneurship centers, introduce promising companies, and improve management in order to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship in the area, said an official in the administrative committee of the area.
