Putuo district in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province recently built an online platform providing company registration information, the first of its kind in the city.

An official in the district's bureau of market supervision said that the platform can provide electronic versions of officially recognized company registration information.

"Thanks to the platform, we don't have to go to the bureau of market supervision in person, saving time and money for us. Now we can just search and print company registration information online in just a few minutes," said a high-ranking employee at Zhejiang Yongyue Holding Group Co.

According to official data, in the first ten months of this year, the bureau of market supervision received nearly 4,000 visitors from local enterprises searching for company registration information.

The bureau has been working on the construction of the online platform since October in an effort to provide better services to enterprises and reduce costs for them.
