A city-level aerobics competition for local primary and secondary school students was held on Nov 16 in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province.

Over 300 athletes in 23 teams participated in the competition.

The competition included many different categories, including aerobic dancing, group calisthenics, and street dancing. Each category was divided into two groups – a primary school group and a secondary school group.

The competition is an important part of the annual sports conference held by the city’s bureau of culture, radio, film, television, tourism and sports and bureau of education.

A series of competitions and activities have been held since May 2019, including swimming, basketball, badminton, and aerobics, among others.
