The Zhoushan branch of Rainbowfish Deep-sea Equipment Science and Technology Co recently won a second prize at the 2019 Maker in China (Zhejiang) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises.

The company, headquartered in Shanghai, was awarded for its high-end deep-sea equipment. 

Last month, it won the championship at the 2019 Maker in China (Zhejiang) Zhoushan Innovation Competition for Industrial and Information Technology Enterprises. 

The Zhoushan branch of the company is located in the Putuo Ocean Ecology Innovation Valley in Zhoushan.

"The establishment of a branch in Zhoushan will help drive the integration of the Yangtze River Delta region," said Wu Xin, president of the company. 

Earlier in June, the Rainbowfish (Zhoushan) Deep-sea Equipment Science and Technology Park opened its doors in the Putuo Ocean Ecology Innovation Valley, providing one-stop services for the R&D, design, production, test and sale of deep-sea equipment.

According to the company, the park focuses on four industries: ocean information technology, high-tech materials for ocean engineering, military-civilian integration of ocean equipment and ocean bio-pharmaceuticals.
