Daishan residents' disposable income surges in H1

In the first half of 2019, the per capita disposable income of permanent residents in Daishan county, Zhoushan, hit 25,263 yuan ($3,586), up 9.1 percent year-on-year, local authorities said recently.

The per capita disposable income of urban residents was 29,051 yuan, up 8.7 percent year-on-year, while that of rural residents increased to 18,411 yuan, up 9.3 percent year-on-year.

The increase rates for the two categories of income both ranked first among other areas in Zhoushan.

In addition, the per capita wage income of rural and urban residents in the county was 16,865 yuan, up 9.9 percent year-on-year, contributing 6.6 percentage points to the growth of the per capita disposable income in the first half of this year, officials said.

Meanwhile, the increase rate for the county's total retail sales of consumer goods totaled 4.27 billion yuan, staying steady and ranking first in Zhoushan.

The rate of increase was 9.4 percent year-on-year, which is 0.5 percentage points higher than the average level of the city.
