My colleagues and I at Ma'ao – Qingqing World

I won't forget to mention how thankful I am to the teachers at my school for the opportunity to visit the Zhoushan Oceanic Art Museum last October during our Chinese culture course. It was exceptionally very educating, seeing the fossils of some rare and perhaps extinct creatures, as well as the ancient and historical artifacts of thousands of years ago, and gave me a deeper understanding and appreciation for the Zhoushan culture. Also, my colleagues and I were privileged to visit Ma'ao, Qingqing World last December which was organized by the Zhoushan council. That experience is one I will never forget in a hurry. Taking a long walk in the woods, learning paper cutting and paintings on carved woods, watching and participating in Kunfu with the grandmaster, and the opportunity to see and learn the entire process involved in the making of a rice cake – a local delicacy was an unforgettable adventure.

Before I conclude my story, I would like to express my immense appreciation to Taobao. I can't imagine how difficult my life here would've been without that App, and being able to get my basic necessities just with a click on my phone is just amazing. Thank you, Taobao, you're a lifesaver!

These are my final words to any intending tourist… If you are looking for a place that will suit your deepest connection with nature and get you in tune with your spiritual side, just visit Zhoushan Island. If you are looking for a place that you will enjoy some quality cuisines garnished with exotic seafood, think Zhoushan Island. Perhaps, you're looking for an affordable place to have the best tourist experience surrounded with a beautiful view on the beach…that is most definitely Zhoushan Island!
