The first time I experienced leisurely ferry ride in Zhoushan. I consider it the perfect transition to take anyone from the busy freeways to the quiet country roads of the islands.  I have visited Liuheng Island and Mount Putuo through ferry rides. I am in love with Zhoushan's scenic spots. It is really hard to forget the moment when the ocean is near as the ocean never stops kissing the shoreline. Monotonous falling of waves always stirs my heart and nourishes my soul with eternal joy. Water views abound, marine birds flying overhead, kids rolling down in beach mud and the aged silently sitting on beach and feeling the wind and waves and beautiful smell of the ocean, all give an immeasurable sense of peace. If anyone wants to get rid of over stimulated modern life and searches moments of solitude, he or she should spend some quality time very close to nature on the beaches in Zhoushan. Living on the edge of an ecological treasure will be a blessing and challenge. I solicit every traveler: please do not harm the life in Zhoushan sea. Try to protect marine life and mundane beauty.

Remember that, either you’re on a sandy beach, a beautiful lake or a mud flat, cherish every moment; go for fishing and fall in love with nature. You can explore Zhoushan island in so many ways — boating, sailing, ferry ride, biking, nature tours, farm tours, hiking and the list goes on. I will highly recommend you to visit Kaihong Mall, dine at Shenjiamen, relax in Haishan Garden, walk in Haibian Park, study in Zhoushan Library, explore Zhoushan Museum and wander near the moon lake. Last but not the least, the moment you arrive on the island, your adventure begins! Multiple activities are available for every age. Be active…relax…explore…it's your time to explore Zhoushan Island.
