80 Zhoushan purchasers to attend China-CEEC Expo

A delegation of 80 purchasing agents from Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, will attend the upcoming big national expo between China and Central and Eastern European Countries held in Ningbo from June 8 to 12.

Previously the China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo which has been held in Ningbo annually since 2015, the expo was upgraded in 2019 to a national-level one.

Five Zhoushan-based companies will set up eight booths at the International Consumer Goods Fair which is to be held at the same time. 

The expo, which covers an area of 110,000 square meters, will accommodate more than 3,500 buyers and investors, with a focus on an imported European commodities exhibition. 

More than 20 economic and trade activities including trade meetings, forums, exhibitions and cultural exchanges will be held.

For the "Cities and Industrial Parks" exhibition, Zhoushan will display the achievements of China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone in a 150-square-meter exhibition area.

The Zhoushan-based Zhejiang Ocean Family Co will sign a fishing investment project worth $120 million with the Republic of Kiribati on June 8.
