Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province recently deepened its cooperation with Songyuan, a city in North China's Jilin province. 

The Putuo district, Daishan county and Shengsi county in Zhoushan signed agreements with the Qianguo county, Ningjiang district and Songyuan Economic Development Zone in Songyuan, respectively, on May 14, to further cooperate in cultural, tourism, agricultural and petrochemical industries. 

Zhoushan and Songyuan have been enjoying frequent personnel and industrial exchanges in recent years, which lay a solid foundation for deepening their cooperation.

Both sides expressed hope that pragmatic cooperation will be conducted in processing and trade of agricultural products, development of tourism industries, introduction of quality projects and the downstream petrochemical industry.
