Thirty women dressed in hanfu (a form of traditional Chinese clothing dating back thousands of years) showed up in Zhujiajian scenic area, Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, on May 1, the first day of the May Day holiday.
Many tourists were interested in their clothing and asked for group photos.

"I learned about Zhujiajian from many of my friends. After enjoying some of the beautiful coastal scenery, delicious sea food and great folk performances, I feel my trip here was worthwhile," said a tourist from Shanghai.
The local tourism agency also organized various interactive activities for tourists to have fun and experience the charm of the scenic area.
