A delegation of more than 30 media outlets in China kicked off a visit to Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province on March 27 to report the achievements that the city's China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) has made over the past two years.

Since its establishment on April 1 two years ago, the Zhejiang FTZ has witnessed substantial growth and developed at an exponential rate.

According to local authorities, all the 89 pilot programs set out in the zone' overall development plan have been implemented by the end of February, and 59 system innovations have been made, of which 23 are the first of their kinds in China and six have been rolled out by the State Council to other zones.

The delegation will visit many important sites of the zone in the next three days, such as the river-sea intermodal information command platform, the Sinopec global bunker fuel supply headquarters and the 300,000-ton oil wharf on Waidiao Island.
