Five cultural locations and companies in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province have been honored with provincial awards, according to recent news released by the provincial publicity department. 

Specifically, the Dinghai Wujiu Cultural and Creative Center was named a 2017-2018 Zhejiang Key Cultural Industrial Park, the Dinghai Zhongdajie Marine Culture Street and the Shanshan Putuo Tiandi Cultural and Creative Block were named in the 2018 Zhejiang Cultural and Creative Block list, and the Zhoushan Bi An Industrial Group and Zhoushan Liangzhu Jewery Co were honored as two Zhejiang Growing Cultural Companies. 

Dinghai Wujiu Cultural and Creative Center, established in Dinghai district on April 29, 2010, currently houses 67 companies specializing in advertising, education, network technology, art training and animation design. It realized revenue of 150 million yuan ($22.14 million) in 2017.

Dinghai Zhongdajie Marine Culture Street originates from over 300 years ago and was renovated in 2009. It now features many characteristic stores selling local handicrafts, and has been awarded as a provincial cultural and creative block for two consecutive years. 

Shanshan Putuo Tiandi Cultural and Creative Block in Putuo district has distinctive marine and Buddhist culture elements. It opened in 2017 and features a variety of cultural businesses such as cinemas, bookstores, fitness centers and kids playground.
