A framework agreement on credit cooperation was recently inked by Zhoushan and three other cities in Zhejiang province, namely, Ningbo, Taizhou and Huzhou, for jointly establishing an inter-regional credit system.
The four cities will deepen cooperation in multiple fields of the credit sector, such as the exchanges and sharing of credit information, mutual recognition of high-integrity enterprises, rewards for companies or individuals who keep good faith and punishment for those who engage in dishonest conduct, and the better development of the credit service market.
Specifically, they will implement the mutual recognition of companies' or individuals' credit scores in major areas such as transport, tourism and medical care, jointly establish a feedback mechanism and a security management mechanism for credit information, so as to promote a sound social climate of honesty and integrity in the four cities.
Zhoushan has formulated codes of integrity in more than 20 fields in recent years, including finance, environment-protection and safety supervision, and has established online credit files for more than 40,000 companies and 1.14 million individuals aged 18 and above for information sharing.
