A delegation from Russia's South Ural State University recently made a visit to Zhejiang Ocean University in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province, in a trip aimed at deepening educational cooperation between the two universities. 

The delegation was led by Professor Andrey Radionov, vice president of the University, as well as Professor Vadim Gasiyarov from its department of mechanical and electrical engineering.

Wu Chengliang, vice president of Zhejiang Ocean University, highlighted the remarkable achievements made in their joint "4+2" Bachelor-Master Degree Integrated Educational Program and Joint Training PhD Program, and extended hope for maintaining mutual trust and deepening cooperation.

Wu also invited the delegation from South Ural State University to attend the school celebration event on Nov 3, marking the 60th anniversary of the founding of Zhejiang Ocean University. 

Andrey Radionov spoke highly of the achievements that Zhejiang Ocean University has made, proclaiming the joint programs run by the two universities a success. 

Radionov expected an increase in the number and quality of student exchanges in the future, as well as advancements in scientific research collaboration, and the joint establishment of a "Pushkin College". 

Lv Huaqing, head of the office of international exchange and cooperation at Zhejiang Ocean University, noted the school's enhanced capacity in operating on the international stage thanks to its constant exchanges and cooperation with overseas universities and research institutes.

"It has long been one of the top priorities of the office to introduce high-quality educational and teaching resources from Russia," said Lv.
